Lobstalope
Mythic creature of the Atlantic Ocean, the Lobstalope inhabits the waters off the New England coast from the Gulf of Maine to Nantucket Sound. Lobstalope is a friend to fishermen and lobstermen, offering protection against storms and swells and frequently battles the giant squid that threaten those that venture out into the waters. Lobstalope guards the lobster stock, and helps bestow healthy fertility among its cousins. Lobstalope is a bit bad-ass and mischievous and has been known to occasionally cut the lines of lobster traps, but ultimately Lobstalope is a force of good.
